Originally from Sheepshead Bay NY, I was drawn to fishing at an early age and had my captain's license before I was twenty years old. I stopped fishing in the mid-90's to attend Penn State for a BS in Meteorology and later earned an MS in Environmental Science and Policy from Johns Hopkins. I currently work as a programmer for a global weather/climate modeling effort, but my eyes are always toward the sea.
